A13 Bionic in a display?! Everything you need to know about the latest Apple leak!

9to5Mac seems to keep dropping new leaks everyday now. According to a report, Apple is currently working on a new external display with the A13 chip inside! Yes, you read that correctly. The chip that powers the iPhone 11 series will be present in an external display!

“Apple could also combine the power of the display SoC with the Mac’s SoC to provide even more performance for running intensive graphic tasks. Another possibility is to use this SoC to add some smart features to the Pro Display XDR, such as AirPlay.” – Filipe Espósito, 9to5Mac

This seems to be an amazing product! My personal opinion is that it’ll allow the older Mac Pro as well as the upcoming Intel Mac Pro to support exclusive Apple Silicon features, and also to support wireless features like AirPlay.
