Adobe Premiere vs Davinci Resolve
Adobe's premiere and Davinci resolve are other popular editing software. But which is right for you?
Price
Premiere is a paid software and costs $19 monthly subscription. Resolve on the other hand offers a free and a Studio version. The Studio version costs $299 one-time payment. but the free version offers most of the features on the Studio.
Performance
Premiere lately has been crashing while rendering, importing, or just scrubbing through the timeline. Adobe recommends 32GB of ram to run its apps.
In Davinci Resolve you should be good if you have 16+ GB ram on your computer.
Compatibility
Compatibility on both is awesome since they can run on the two major Operating Systems (MacOS and Windows)
Color grading
While Premiere's grading is good Davinci resolve beats Premiere on the color section because there are more tools to play with offering Industry-leading solutions for grading requirements.
Simplicity
Davinci resolve is simpler meanwhile Premiere is a bit complicated for beginners, but it will be easier over time.
Collaboration
For collaboration premiere is better since there are more editors to work with but with resolve it isn't the best idea for collaboration because there aren't many to collaborate with but there should be a way to collaborate with both sides.
