Beats Announces Studio Buds!
Beats, owned by Apple, just announced their latest True Wireless Earbuds (TWS) in the name of Beats Studio Buds. They support Active Noise Cancellation along with great battery life and much more! Here’s an overview:
1. Design:
The Studio Buds are in-ear truly wireless earbuds and weigh 5g each. The case is of the dimensions: 1 x 2.83 x 2 (in) and weighs about 48g.
2. Modes:
As stated earlier, the Beats Studio Buds support ANC. But, they also support Transparency mode, which uses the microphones present on the buds to hear your surrounding without removing them.
3. Battery:
These earbuds have up to 8 hours of listening time with two additional charges provided by a pocket-sized charging case, giving you up to 24 hours of combined playback.
4. Connectivity:
No W1/H1 chip!
Yes, you heard that right. The Studio Buds support standard Bluetooth. It does have a few benefits and thus Beats calls it “Class 1 Bluetooth Technology“. It offers extended wireless range
and fewer dropouts.
5. Pricing:
The Beats Studio Buds are priced at $149.9(USA) which is highly reasonable seeing the fact that AirPods Pro cost about 1.5x the price of the Studio Buds.
For truly wireless Active Noise Cancellation earbuds, we can agree that the Studio Buds will be a big hit at this price point!
