The heavily rumoured Pixel Buds A have been officially announced by the Tech Giant.

The Pixel Buds A are the heavily rumoured and anticipated cheaper Truly Wireless Earbuds from the Search Engine company. Earlier this year, the company tweeted an image that featured the A-Series and today, the company has officially announced the TWS Buds.

The Buds A-Series retain the same build and general design of the previously launched Pixel Buds. It also shares the hands-free “Hey Google” voice commands and IPX4 water and sweat resistance with the regular Pixel Buds. Whilst retaining the same audio quality and sound signature, it loses out on the Wireless Charging Case and the Swipe Controls for for Volume on the buds.

Battery life is rated at five hours (24 hours if recharging in the case is counted), and Google says you can get up to three hours of listening time with a 15-minute quick charge.

While the Pixel Buds A-Series look practically identical to the regular Pixel Buds, Google has tweaked the design by softening the integrated ear hooks and making them a bit smaller. The company has also taken steps to avoid the connectivity bugs and audio cutouts that still affect some owners of its previous foray. The Pixel Buds A-Series also can be configured to be a bit louder than the original Pixel Buds.

Even with all those features retained, Google has managed to cut the price down to $99 from $179 which is commendable!
