Google Search Dark Mode is here and I LOVE IT!!
Last week a notification popped up while i was searching on Google telling me that dark mode is now available on Google search. I have used it for the past week and its been a really good experience so far.
Availability
Google Search Dark Mode still seems to be in testing phase where it is being rolled out for some users. You will get a notification if you are one of the selected users. Although it seems it will soon be rolled out for everyone.
The Experience
I belong to the 'dark everything' group so this was a very welcome feature for me. Its been especially helpful in the night where i used to be blinded by the white background of the Google Search. It also feels more cohesive with the OS wide dark mode and it feels more in line with the other Google apps and services which already have a dark mode available on desktop operating systems.
How Do I Enable Dark Mode on Google Search?
Currently this feature is not available for everyone and is still in testing phase. If you got an notification about dark mode being available then you can enable it on the Search page on the top left corner.
