totally not an iPhone 4 image

Technology Journalist and Leaker, Jon Prosser, has procured images and schematics of the iPhones due to release in 2022. In a shocking twist, the leaks reveal an iPhone 4-esque design, with a flush camera module and a titanium frame.

The device pictured is the iPhone 14 Pro and it is seen touting a flush camera module, a glass-sandwich design and a Hole-Punch cut out on the display. According to Prosser, FaceID is still reported to feature on these devices with the hardware incorporated underneath the display. While rumours of a port-less iPhone have been going around for a while, the schematics that Prosser received still had the Lightning Port on it.

Here are the renders shared by the team at FrontPage Tech, presented here.

You might wonder, if Apple managed to fit the FaceID components under the screen, why couldn't they fit the cameras as well. Giants like Samsung, Xiaomi, and other manufacturers on the Android side of things have been experimenting on the same for multiple generations, and though they have shown steady progress, the images produced from such Under Display Cameras are very blurry and prone to blooming. Though, as the technology matures, we expect Apple to cache in on this, sometime soon.
