Review: Whatsapp's Multi-device beta
After one month of using Whatsapp's multi device beta, here's my review of the same:

For the ones who don't know, now one can use whatsapp on 4 devices simultaneously at once without the original phone being connected🎉 by signing up for the beta. While this mayn't be a big deal for some, anyone who primarily uses a laptop or tab for work, knows that this is a gamechanger because one doesn't need to worry about the phone being in the radius or being connected or even being charged now (and also coz this was literally awaited for years now).
Ok now back to the review, here is what you need to know about the experience and what I went through: Pros:
📞Calls : One can call anyone via the web, quite seamlessly, even when your phone isn't connected, the only drawback here is that's available only on the desktop app and group calls aren't available yet.
🚀Efficiency: This can help one's work become more seamless as one doesn't need to check that the phone is connected to the net or hope that whatsapp works properly. Also it prevents you from checking your phone, if that was something that bothered you.
🛡️Encryption: Despite allowing multiple devices, the messages will still be end to end encrypted and your data isnt compromised by using the beta.
Cons
✉️Messages: Many people (including me) have faced the issue of previous messages not loading in the beta and above that whatsapp doesnt allow the messages >1 year old to load so yes, in case you are someone who needs to use older message, you should probably wait for a while before signing up.
🔒Signed out : Once you join the beta, you must reconnect all your connected devices, it's not a deal breaker but yes its a small inconvenience haha
So that was it for my experience with whatsapp's multi device beta, let me know if you have used it and what was your experience and let us know your thoughts about the same by tweeting @kinetechblog.
