Due to the rise of Online Communication, apps such as Zoom, Google Meet, and more, have been competing heavily for the crown of having the best video calling app. but one feature that's there in most of these apps, is the renowned virtual background but finding the perfect Virtual Background is hard, so here are five ideas to help you stand out in video calls.

1. Blurry Video Background

Not only in photos are blurry backgrounds great, but also for virtual meetings, as in many scenarios, a blurry background lets the viewer/viewers on the meeting focus on the sharpened part of your image(you). Which makes them easily see you, with no distractions around like other backgrounds.

In addition to that, you won't have to worry about downloading an image and accidentally deleting it, since the blurry background feature is now built into zooms latest updates, making it easy to use, and very seamless. The blurred background is definitely one of the sleekest ones on this list.

2. Famous Settings

Although most meetings using Zoom and other similar apps are mainly for professional purposes, there's nothing wrong with a small laugh. Taking images from the internet, you could search up some famous places, such as the white-house, a dinner with Tim-Cook, etc, making it seem that your there and almost believable if the feature weren't well known. You'll get some laughs and questions from using these types of backgrounds.

3. Clean and Realistic Office

From what we know so far, these clean and realistic backgrounds seem to be the most popular among everybody, and they're mine, as well as many other people's personal favorites too. You can find a lot of these on the internet, making the worry of variety low if you're like me and change your Virtual Background often.

These not only look good, but they're also pretty professional, anyone at work or school will definitely appreciate your effort to make your background look good. And some people might even wonder whether that's a background, or whether you've made your house look fancy, as these are super realistic.

4. Travelling Around the World

Another majorly popular option for people to use in a Virtual Background is some of the Natural Scenes of the world. Serving the opposite functionality of a blurred background, these cool Natural Scenes will awe your friends and make them focus on you, and what's going on around you.

From the Great Barrier Reef in Australia to the Hot Deserts in Egypt, there are a ton of places to travel to in your little box on the software. Zoom already has some landscapes as default Virtual Backgrounds, some even moving, but to really step up your game and impress everyone around you, it's best to find a high-quality one from the internet.

5. Animated Scenes

The rarest type of Virtual Background you'll see in a meeting, are probably these cool animated scenes. First off, although not realistic, they're the most stylish of any background I've ever seen. Instead of going to places in the world, you could venture somewhere no one else has been.

From Batman's Cave to Iron Man's Billionaire building, there are a ton of slick scenes you can put yourself in, and although this is pretty unnatural, you'll get some good looks from your colleagues, after the meeting they'll still be wondering about that background.
