Top 4 Free Video Editing Apps for Android - Best of The Bunch
With the rise of creators in these past few years, it's been obvious that you don't need the biggest and best of resources to make enjoyable content on YouTube, or anything else. In fact, you can even shoot/edit your videos right on your smartphone and face no loss of quality. So thus, here are the 4 Best Video Editing Apps for Android, completely for free.
1. VN Video Editor
Level: Beginner-Intermediate-Advanced Ease of Use: Easy
The Top Pick for this list is VN Video Editor. It's the perfect combination of having a lot of features and being quite easy to use. Beginners and professionals can both use VN comfortably. VN Video Editor mainly focusing on the general edit, separating clips, effects, text, and audio into separate layers making it easy to focus on each aspect of the edit. There are a ton of additions to VN Video Editor, such as motion, color correction, and transitions. Unlike many other programs though, these features are really responsive making them great to use.
2. KineMaster
Level: Intemediate-Advanced Ease of Use: Medium
Probably the most popular in this list, KineMaster is amazing. You know it's good just from it's name, anything with Kine is pretty much awesome, KineMaster, Kine Nintendo Switch Gameplay, and lastly, KineTech! KineMaster has a really cool interface and timeline, similar to high-end software, you have a multilayered singular area, with the main clip on top. KineMaster, has the largest amount of features out of any. You can chroma key, and awesome animations, and even dabble into VFX. There are loads of awesome Creators who use KineMaster, and their content is definitely terrific. Their is a pro version that doesn't have a watermark, but the free version has pretty much all the same features. Although it takes some time to master KineMaster, the wait is worth it.
3. Premiere Rush
Level: Intermediate Ease of Use: Easy
Although I EXTREMELY hate Adobe and their prices. Premiere Rush is free at start, and you only have to pay for extra premium features. The Free Version in most cases though, is more than enough. My favorite part of Premiere Rush is the really clean and polished UI. It makes searching, and editing really fun and easy. Kind of like VN Video Editor, there are a load of features, but these additions are so simple to use it makes the most complex of things such as color grading, or audio cleaning, simple. It's very easy to edit on the go, and is great for vlogs, and videos with many different sequences.
4. Vlogit
Level: Beginner-Intermediate Ease of use: Very Easy
Made by the well-known video editing company wondershare filmora. Vlogit's got a pretty high reputation, through the name, you can see that this is great for montages, vlogs, and pretty much any hype-wise sequences. You can add music, effects, and some pretty cool transisitions. Althouh I wouldn't recommend it for other videos that aren't montages, since you can't add b-roll to vlogit. But it's still an amazing editor as it's easy to use, and barely takes any time. Making it a good one for IGTV or YouTube Shorts.
