Twitter is removing fleets?!

A lot of us use Twitter daily, and you might know about a feature called fleets. It is only on the mobile app, but it is actually kind of cool. You can share tweets and other things in fleets, too!

Well... they ended up saying that they are going to remove fleets on August 3. They are still there, but they are going away soon.

Why?

Twitter said this about why they were removing fleets:

So yeah, looks like fleets did not go as planned and not many people were using them. This was Twitter's decision and some people are happy about this and some are not so much. Anyways, did you use fleets? Comment below!

I personally used fleets a few times here and there, but it mostly faded away into the background. I also use the web app on my computer anyway, haha.
