On Wednesday the 14th of July, Microsoft unveiled its brand-new cloud-based service called “Windows 365”. Windows 365 offers businesses to easily let their employee's access window 10/11 from the cloud. The service is meant for users using mobile devices such as phones or tablets, or PCs from home where they can access all of their work. At this stage, it will only be available for businesses, but this could change. It will become available on the 2nd of August 2021.

Windows 365 is not intended to replace Microsoft’s Azure Virtual Desktop, instead offering another option for businesses that has much simpler IT management and deployment, Microsoft has stated. With the pandemic (COVID-19) this is meant to help smaller companies allow their employees to work easier from home.
