YouTube rolls out PiP support for Premium users!

The YouTube app on iOS will be getting Picture in Picture support, allowing all users to watch videos while doing other things on their iPhones and iPads.
Premium Subscribes are receiving this update first. According to rumours, every user in the US will be able to use PiP for free.

Apple added support for picture-in-picture on iPhones in 2020 with iOS 14. At that time, YouTube had support for PiP in Safari, but was later removed.

Android users have had PiP support on Youtube for years, and we are finally excited to see it debut on iOS!
